Founder of The Grange Studio and Master Teacher

MY STORY

As a lifelong health enthusiast, and a mother of four children my fitness and energy levels have always been important to me. I thought I had achieved my maximum potential in exercise until I discovered Pilates in 1998. Pilates changed my life and I am passionate about it and what it has done for my body, my energy, flexibility, strength and ease of movement. It is without doubt the single best thing I could be doing for my mind and body and I love to share this passion with my clients.

MY TRAINING

I originally trained with the world renowned Pilates expert ALAN HERDMAN PILATES ® qualifying in classical and remedial pilates in matwork and all studio equipment, and specialising in injury prevention, rehabilitation and ante and post natal pregnancy. I then furthered my training with BODY CONTROL PILATES ®, the largest professional Pilates organisation in Europe, qualifying as an advanced teacher and then as a MASTER TEACHER in Pilates Matwork. I am also qualified in BARRE WORK having trained with guru James d’Silva of the GARUDA method. I am a member of the BCPA association and the Register of Exercise Professionals, and am registered nationally with both as an advanced level 3 pilates teacher.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Pilates is a lifestyle choice for me and I am committed to sharing this passion with others, helping clients to achieve a greater understanding of their bodies and improve their own ease of movement through regular pilates practice.

I am devoted to enhancing and improving my knowledge and skills through daily practice, through continued professional development in attending regular workshops, courses and conferences and generally following a healthy and balanced approach to life.
